My first start in my career was as a biochemist and after having children, I never returned to the lab, unless you count my kitchen. Speed up a few years from then and I have served with various ministry organization including being a missionary to Mozambique before returning to graduate school to get degree in Mental Health Counseling. Currently I am finishing a functional nutrition program where I have the opportunity to combine my love of biochemistry and mental health; only God could create this opportunity. I will see clients in my office or via teletherapy providing therapy services to ages 6+. I am a somatic trauma therapist who enjoys working with veterans, couples, individuals, and families on their trauma as well as other issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, life transitions, men's issues, parenting, marital and relationship issues, and grief/loss.
